Quote from Shotglass :you could try completely opening the ports for your server to see if thats the problem
otherwise you could just attach the servers cfg so someone with more experience can have a look at it

yeah i'm on a static ip, and the ports are open...... maybe its just me being a newbie @ the server thing... anybody wanna have a look @ my cfg file

Quote from Shotglass :sry ill have to pass i dont know exactly which ports lfs requires to be open to work

Quote from Shotglass :since it doesnt show up even on your server list theres definitely something wrong here and youll want to resolve that before you do anything else

i dont have join2lfs installed so that link doesnt do anything for me ... btw i cant join via "join specific game" and the server name either

hmmmmm must be my router firewall rules then??? i've done 29999 tcp/udp 65532 tcp/udp and also 29339 tcp/udp am i missing something

then dedi has a static ip address and the rules reflect this???

Quote from Shotglass :i might if i could see it on the list
do you have the port routed through correctly ?

i can't see it via the list in lfs..... i have to log onto the server via "local game" then enter the dedi ip address?????? but i can also join via lfsworld.net if i serch for the server "atherton fox racing" (filterin' out all cars and tracks apart from the fox on bl1)

lfs://|ATHERTON FOX Racing|0|S2|/ (don't know if that will work lol)

Quote from zak_mull :on your dedi server type in chat "/admin=(the password you want)"

For example if you wanted password to be 1234 you type:
/admin=1234
try that then log on with password: 1234

on the dedi server its running on it just looks like a comand prompt so to speak......

when i type the above its says unknown comand

also i'm 90% sure the router/and software is all set up ok....

you can try and log on via the server name under my user name???
